ABOUT THE CLUB

Club Humber Rib

Driffield & District Divers was formed in 1984, as an off shoot from a club based in Filey. There are many members of the club, who dive whenever the sea conditions allow it! Read more of the history of the club by clicking here!

Diving off the Yorkshire coast usually happens between May and September, but this can depend on the state of the tides, the weather, sea conditions, and most importantly the visibility!

Besides diving, the club also has a good social scene with many events and trips being organised.

Driffield & District Divers meet every Tuesday night at 8pm through the diving season (Easter - September) and fortnightly through the winter. The club has its own clubhouse in Driffield - click here for details of how to find it. The club also has its own boat and compressor.

There are training sessions through the winter, held at the local swimming pool. The club is run by its members, for its members, through a committee:

The club is affiliated to the Sub Aqua Association (SAA member 443).
